21 Games from 2021 to Play (or Play Again) in 2022 on Google Stadia
It is the end of 2021 — another year in a global pandemic — and as I reflect on the experience of Google Stadia (the cloud gaming streaming service from Google) throughout this past year, I am still grateful that Google Stadia continues to exist as a platform.
Another BIG thank you to Google and the Google Stadia Team! From the platform upgrades, the player experience enhancements, the new games being on-boarded, the Google TV and Google Stadia integration / roll out, the YouTube Live streaming via Google Stadia, and to the communication transparency along the way from the Google Stadia Team via the following mediums:
- Google Stadia Discord Channel
- Google Stadia Discussion Forum Community
- Google Stadia Twitter Channel
- Google Stadia YouTube Channel
- Google Stadia Facebook Page
You are nailing it Google, and I’m here for even more great Google Stadia experiences in 2022!
Previously, I wrote about how Google Stadia was keeping me fully entertained during the pandemic as a casual gamer — and as I reflect on another year of pandemic — it has again — fully delivered. I discovered new games that I would not have otherwise played or been exposed to. The game play continues to be seamless and inter-modal, and I now have a library of 126 games by being a Google Stadia Pro member — with more to come each month! In 2021, I even obtained another Google Stadia Controller during their 2 Year anniversary sale promotion where they were selling controllers for $22.22.
In 2021, I learned a lot, I played a lot, I live streamed a lot, and I grew a lot as a casual gamer. From what I played (and want to play), here’s the best games from 2021 on Google Stadia that I’ll definitely be playing (or playing again) in 2022 (NOTE: List is not a ranking):
